Power supply module for a modular medium-size programmable logic controller rack. Input voltage: 24 VDC. Supplies the backplane logic voltage to the CPU and I/O modules mounted in the base rack. Integrated alarm output with two relay contacts, energised when the controller enters Error mode, for external fault annunciation. Module dimensions per the system user manual: approximately 113 x 53 x 150 mm. Occupies the dedicated power supply position at the left-hand end of the base rack. Host platform: modular controller for medium-sized applications requiring 100 to 1000 control points, expandable to 2048 I/O points, with high-speed program execution, real-time clock, PID loop control and dedicated peer-to-peer link modules for high-speed data communication. Companion modules in the same rack family include CPU units, 16- and 32-point digital input and output modules for 12-24 VDC, 100-120 VAC and 200-240 VAC, relay output modules, 8-channel analogue input modules for 0-5 V and 0-20 mA, 4-channel analogue output modules for 0-10 V and 4-20 mA, high-speed counter modules, and remote I/O slave modules. A mains-supplied variant of the same power supply exists for 230 VAC input.
